Title:  Store Setup Coordinator

About the team

You’ll be part of the Store Support team, working closely with State Managers, Store Managers, Retail Managers, 2ICs and store teams across the state. The team plays an important role in supporting stores to maintain operational standards, improve performance and deliver a consistent experience across the business. You’ll build strong relationships across stores and internal teams, working collaboratively to identify opportunities and deliver practical solutions.

About the role

As a Store Support Coordinator, you’ll provide hands-on support to stores across the state, with a focus on stock management, merchandising, compliance and day-to-day store operations. You’ll visit stores to assess standards, identify opportunities for improvement and provide practical coaching and training to store teams. You’ll also coordinate store setups and relays, working closely with Store Support and store teams to ensure new and refreshed stores are delivered to a high standard and within required timeframes.

Key responsibilities

• Support stores with stock rationalisation, ordering processes, merchandising, catalogue and promotional execution, audits and new initiatives.
• Conduct store compliance visits, assess performance against required standards, provide feedback and work with store teams to implement agreed improvements.
• Coordinate store setups and relays, including planograms, merchandising and compliance, while providing hands-on support and training to new stores during their initial trading period.

Selection criteria

• Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a Store Support or similar retail operations role, with strong knowledge of store-level ordering, stock management and retail processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills, with confidence using Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
• Highly organised and adaptable, with strong communication and relationship-building skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of store teams while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
