We are building the foundation team for our new Chemist Warehouse store in Yagoona and are looking for friendly, motivated people to join us as Retail Pharmacy Assistants.

Retail Pharmacy Assistant

As a Retail Pharmacy Assistant, you will create a positive and helpful experience for every customer while supporting the smooth day to day operation of the store.

• Assist customers with queries and help them find the right products.
• Serve customers and process purchases through the point of sale system.
• Replenish stock and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Set up displays and promotional material for catalogue campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with the wider store team to deliver exceptional customer service.

About you

You will bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine commitment to supporting customers as part of a team.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks.
• Confidence working in a busy environment where priorities can change throughout the day.
• Previous retail, pharmacy or customer service experience is highly regarded.
• S2/S3 training or a Certificate I, II or III in Community Pharmacy is highly regarded but not essential.

The work environment

Our stores are busy, energetic environments where no two days are the same. Team members work throughout the pharmacy and retail store and may stand for extended periods. Some tasks involve repetitive movements and occasional lifting, so please keep this in mind when applying.
