Job Description

Chemist Warehouse Kilbirnie is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time (40 hours per week, 80 hours per fortnight) Dispensary Technician! This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 New Zealand Pharmacy Technician qualification. Prior experience with Chemist Warehouse would be a bonus but not essential. This role would offer a competitive pay rate of $34 to $43 dollars per hour.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work at least one weekend shift, and two late night closing shifts. Flexibility and adaptability are a must for this role.

Job Responsibilities

Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries

Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications

Counselling customers about medications

Dispensary stock management and replenishment

Updating customer files and other administrative tasks

Skills

Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Experience working in the dispensary

Strong eye for detail and accuracy

Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills
