We’re looking for enthusiastic candidates to join us on a casual basis across multiple stores across Victoria from October 2026 through to February 2027 - perfect if you want to earn, learn, and be part of the Chemist Warehouse & Amcal team during our peak trading period!

What’s a day in the life like?

As part of our team, you’ll be warmly welcoming customers, helping them find what they need, and keeping our stores looking presentable! You’ll also:

  • Assist customers with their questions and provide exceptional customer service
  • Keep shelves stocked and displays neat and eye-catching
  • Help set up exciting promotional displays and ensure ticketing is displayed accurately

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who:

  • Have experience in customer-facing roles in retail, hospitality, or similar environments with demonstrated skills in delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Work well independently as well as a part of a team

  • Possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

  • Are reliable, organised, and eager to learn about community pharmacy!

  • Step 2: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a group interview at a centralised location close to your chosen store(s).
  • Step 3: Successfully interviewed applicants will be offered a position subject to a satisfactory National Criminal History Check.

 

Important Details:

  • Applications are open NOW and will close on Friday 25th of September, after which time applications for the casual recruitment campaign will no longer be accepted.
  • Assessment centres will be held at the end of September and beginning of October (date to be confirmed to successfully shortlisted applicants), ready to commence employment in October-November.
  • These casual roles are designed for the November through to February period, with the possibility of extension based on your performance and requirements of the store.
