Title: Finance Operations & Commercial Analyst
Location: Ireland – Support Office (with regular engagement across stores)
Reporting to: CFO (dotted line to CEO)
Role Overview
This is a hands-on finance role combining day-to-day financial operations with commercial analysis and business partnering. You will ensure strong financial control while delivering clear insight to support decision-making across stores, property, construction, HR, and head office functions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations

Oversee AP/AR reviews and approvals

Manage credit cards, expenses, mileage, and PO processes (D365)

Monitor bank accounts and facilities (AIB, BGs, IIB, treasury)

Support pension auto-enrolment inputs
-
Maintain effective cost control and compliance procedures
Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs
-
Lead P&L review across stores, head office, and property/construction

Deliver revenue, store performance, wage, roster, and stock/SLOB analysis

Support month-end financial and operational reporting
Commercial Support

Participate in Operations meetings as a financial advisor

Partner with Operations, HR (wages and compliance), and Property teams

Support budgeting and store-level financial reviews
-
Provide practical, commercially focused insights
Systems & Process

Improve and document finance processes as the business grows

Support D365 and reporting optimisation

Enhance data accuracy, consistency, and reporting cadence

Contribute to finance and operational projects
Audit & Stakeholders

Liaise with Irish auditors

Coordinate with Australian finance teams

Ensure accuracy and readiness of financial information
Experience Required
Essential
-
5–7+ years’ experience in finance operations or commercial analysis

Strong management accounts and P&L experience

Cost control experience in a multi-site or retail environment

Strong Excel and financial systems capability
-
Comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders
Desirable

Retail, hospitality, or multi-location experience

Systems implementation or process improvement exposure

Experience working with international finance teams

Payroll and wage cost analysis knowledge
