Our Store Operations & Set-up team is currently seeking a Store Projects Administrator to sit within our Head Office located in Preston.
About the role
This role sits within our Store Operations & Support department, which works with both existing and new stores to enhance their retail operations and overall retail performance.
As the Store Projects Administrator, you will undertake a variety of administrative tasks that support the work of the Store Projects Team to (a) rollout new brands and other initiatives in stores; and (b) implement new store set ups, relays, relocations, and expansions across our network of stores.
In this varied and busy role, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Store Project Manager with planning for and tracking new brand role outs
- Providing daily support to the projects teams as directed by management
- Work with store projects Coordinator and Manager, along with other departments, to ensure that projects meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, owners, and suppliers with regards to new projects.
- Defining project outcomes and timelines, collecting and analysing project data, and preparing progress reports
- Attending project meetings to take minutes and provide updates or feedback where appropriate
- Placing orders to ensure that new stores have stock and correct POS for opening
- Communicating project overviews to all relevant parties prior to stock into store date
- Monitoring projects during and after set-up week to ensure all relevant tasks have been completed.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has worked as an Administrator in a busy role, with specific experience working in project administration highly regarded. You will also be a proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite – especially Word and Excel. As this role will require you to work across multiple locations, you must also hold a current driver’s license and be able to travel on a regular basis.
