Functional responsibilities

Planogram Overhauls

  • Delivered monthly planogram releases in line with schedules set by the Catalogue & Merchandising Team Leader and business requirements

  • Created reports for the Buying Department, analysing planogram sales performance and stock weight

  • Developed planograms aligned with company stock targets (35 days), sales analysis, and trading terms

  • Collaborated with the Catalogue & Merchandising Team Leader to design and implement new strategies to drive sales growth through planograms

  • Documented all planogram changes and overhauls to ensure tracking and analysis

  • Monitored store compliance and responded to store enquiries via email

  • Tested all planograms prior to release to ensure accuracy and functionality

  • Communicated all changes to stores and buyers in a clear and timely manner

Planogram Updates

  • Updated planograms weekly, ensuring discontinued lines were removed and new product lines were integrated prior to store launch

  • Processed planograms for visibility and accessibility across stores

  • Communicated changes and updates with buyers

  • Provided individual stores with tailored planogram assistance and support

Team Responsibilities

  • Supported team members in learning the JDA program and applying merchandising strategies for Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist stores

  • Assisted the Store Operations & Support Manager with various projects as required

Teamwork and relationships

  • Collaborated with the Buying Department and external suppliers to deliver high-quality services across the business

  • Fostered strong teamwork and clear communication with colleagues, other departments, and management

  • Promoted and modelled a proactive, solutions-focused “can do” attitude

Qualifications and experience

▪ Previous retail experience essential
▪ Experience with planogramming, sales analysis and interpretation of sales data highly regarded
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
▪ Exceptional organisation, time and people management skills
▪ Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
▪ Experience with the following programs: JDA, Microsoft Suit
▪ Must be pro-active, driven and enthusiastic
