Title: Space Planning Developer

The primary focus and responsibilities of this role include updating and maintaining all planograms to drive sales and analyzing data to improve sales and the overall flow of the store layout. The incumbent will report directly to the Store Operations & Support Senior Manager - Operations and must ensure that all tasks are completed successfully and delivered on time. The role requires someone who can work quickly and efficiently within scheduled timeframes, build lasting relationships to enhance the company’s reputation, and collaborate with individuals from diverse multicultural backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Deliver monthly planogram releases
▪ Monitor stores rolling stocktake and compliance and provide assistance when required
▪ Develop planograms based on trading terms
▪ Create reports to analyze planogram sales and stock weight
▪ Test all planograms prior to release
▪ Update planograms with new lines, new ranges and X’lines
▪ Communicate all planogram changes to stores in a timely manner
▪ Assist stores with planogram layout changes
General Responsibilities
▪ Provide quality information to the Catalogue. Merchandising and Space Planning Manager in all areas of responsibilities
▪ Provide assistance and support to other members of the team in performance of their roles and responsibilities
▪ Act in accordance with all policies, procedures practices and guidelines in the performance of accountabilities
▪ Take all reasonable care for their own and others safety and wellbeing while at work
▪ As and when required, undertake additional projects or activities as directed by management.
Experience and skills
▪ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
▪ Good general IT and Computer skills
▪ Creativity and attention to detail
▪ Highly organised and with an ability to prioritise and multitask
▪ Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make major decisions
▪ A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results
