Primary focus
The primary focus and responsibilities of this role are:
To maintain & develop all planograms for the CW Retail Group to grow sales.
To assist team in learning the strategies and programs used in the group for planogramming
Reporting directly to Catalogue & Merchandising Team Leader, the incumbent will need to ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and delivered in line with business requirements
The person must be comfortable with:
▪ Combining analysis & creativity to create planograms in line with company goals
▪ Building lasting relationships that can be relied on to help bolster our reputation
▪ Working and liaising with people from a diverse range of multicultural backgrounds
Key responsibilities
PLANOGRAM OVERHAULS
▪ Deliver Monthly Planogram Releases as per the schedule determined by the Catalogue & Merchandising Team Leader and the business
▪ Create Reports for the Buying department analyzing planograms sales and stock weight
▪ Develop planograms within the company stock target of 35 days, sales analysis & according to trading terms
▪ Working with the Catalogue & Merchandising Team Leader develop & implement new strategies with the planograms to grow sales
▪ Document all changes & overhauls so that can be tracked and analyze all changes
▪ Monitor Store Compliance and respond to stores emails as required
▪ Test all planograms prior to release
▪ Communicate all changes to stores and buyers in a timely manner
PLANOGRAM UPDATES
▪ Update planograms weekly to ensure all X lines have been removed and new lines added prior to arriving in store
▪ Process planograms so that they can be viewed by stores
▪ Communicate changes with buyers
▪ Provide individual stores with planogramming assistance
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Assist team with learning the JDA program and all the different merchandising strategies used when planogramming for Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist Stores
▪ Assist the Store Operations & Support Manager on projects as required
Qualifications and experience
▪ Previous retail experience essential
▪ Experience with planogramming, sales analysis and interpretation of sales data highly regarded
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
▪ Exceptional organisation, time and people management skills
▪ Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
▪ Experience with the following programs: JDA, Microsoft Suit
▪ Must be pro-active, driven and enthusiastic
