We’re currently seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to join our national team. This role plays a key part in supporting our leaders and team members across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on. What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to our P&C Advisory Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering proactive, solutions-focused Employee Relations advice across stores, head office, and distribution centres.
  • Supporting leaders with end-to-end case management, performance concerns, and employee grievances.
  • Coaching managers on best-practice processes — including investigations, disciplinary outcomes, and fair decision-making.
  • Acting as a point of escalation and providing leadership to Advisors as needed.
  • Drafting formal documentation and communications with precision and professionalism.
  • Interpreting employment legislation, Modern Awards, EA's, and policies to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in ER practices and helping drive cultural uplift across the business.
  • Championing fairness, employee engagement, and conflict resolution.
  • Travelling occasionally (locally/interstate) to build relationships and provide in-person support where needed.

 

About You

We’re looking for an experienced ER professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-driven environment. You’ll bring:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations and workplace dispute resolution.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian employment legislation and IR frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in managing complex cases and influencing decision-makers.
  • A calm, fair, and commercially aware mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Digital fluency with confidence using HR systems.
  • Experience in retail, pharmaceutical, or service-based industries (highly regarded).
