About The Role

Reporting to the Group Manager- Marketplace, the position of Sales & Marketing Lead will focus on establishing strong foundations for long term success of the Marketplace platform. The Sales Lead must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Working closely with the Group Manager there will be a focus on key areas of the current strategy for growth whilst assuring there are no missed opportunities for incremental sales. Forming strong internal and external stakeholder relationships is an essential component of the Sales & Marketing Lead role to ensure clear and accurate communication is shared. The position will evolve nurturing existing relationships as well as establishing new business to drive revenue through seller recruitment and marketing activities. The role will actively participate in strategic planning for the future.

Role Responsibilities

  • Source new sellers
  • Negotiate and agree on product assortment, commissions, and shipping
  • Prepare seller contracts
  • Review seller performance and provide feedback on areas for improvement
  • Increase existing seller listings
  • Secure Marketing investment from Seller to increase sales
  • Coordinate with the Digital Design, CRM and compliances teams to execute digital marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate with the Analytics and Data lead to review seller sales and campaign performance
  • Work with Group Manager on strategic planning
  • Educate and support sales & marketing administrator/s
  • Manage seller escalations and support general queries
  • Work alongside Operations Lead to ensure sales and operational functions are aligned

About You

  • Experience in FMCG or Pharmacy Retail preferred.
  • Experience in account management/stakeholder management preferred.
  • Exposure to sales and marketing is great, but experience with stakeholder/relationship management is key.
  • Ideally 5+ years’ workforce experience. Not suitable for new graduate.
  • Professional work experience in the Healthcare industry
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Highly developed organisational and planning skills
