Our Media team is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Production Coordinator to join our vibrant team based at our Head Office in Preston.
About the role
The Production Coordinator will have a keen interest and experience in media production. Reporting directly to the Media Production Manager, the Production Coordinator will manage the production of advertising from pre-production planning to final delivery.
You will spend your day communicating with suppliers, agency partners and campaign managers, coordinating the production and delivery of weekly advertorials, in store promotional advertising, attend shoots on a regular basis and support the team with production of general advertising.
Role responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties to support campaign, and production managers by writing and reviewing scripts, and planning production setup.
- Maintain production schedules for in store promotional activities, and production shoots including ‘What’s On’ advertorials and from time to time Healthy/Beauty Break and Brand campaigns and other general advertising shoots.
- Maintain budgets and track billing monthly.
- Manage stock requirements for production shoots, organise logistics to get stock from suppliers to shoots and then ensure timely return of stock.
- Supervise store operation assistants to prepare shoots and direct their daily activities.
- Participate in short- and long-term planning aligned with goals set by managers.
- Work with all departments that contribute to the production.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, marketing, management, or related field
- Previous experience as a production coordinator or production assistant
- Superb organisational and time management skills
- Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints
- Professional judgment for handling confidential information
- Excellent written and spoken verbal communications; professional telephone etiquette
- Adept at general admin tasks such as budgeting, data entry and word processing
