About the role
The Platform System Owner plays a critical role in shaping Sigma Healthcare’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy. This role owns the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of our Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform, helping to safeguard the organisation through strong security, compliance, and system availability. You’ll lead the implementation and enforcement of PAM standards, oversee governance controls, and proactively monitor adherence to security policies across the enterprise. With a strong focus on accountability, you’ll define and report on key metrics to track compliance, performance, and risk reduction, while also providing strategic input that supports the evolution of Sigma Healthcare’s broader IAM capability.
Role Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operations of the PAM platform (CyberArk), ensuring stability, performance, and uptime Provide technical support and resolve PAM-related issues promptly.
- Ensure PAM configurations, workflows, and integrations comply with Sigma Healthcare’s security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Define and maintain KPIs for PAM operations (e.g., onboarding SLAs, compliance rates, orphaned account reduction, break-glass test success, P).
- Produce regular reports for audit, compliance, and executive dashboards.
- Lead the prioritisation and planning of PAM initiatives, balancing business needs, security risk, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with application owners and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to standards.
- Act as a key contributor to the PAM and broader IAM program strategy.
- Provide technical expertise and coordinate with business stakeholders to align CyberArk implementation with enterprise security objectives.
- Support the strategic direction of the PAM program, including roadmap development, prioritisation of initiatives, and alignment with broader identity and security strategies.
- Serving as the primary business stakeholder liaison for PAM, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- Provide technical expertise and direction for the PAM platform, ensuring best practice architecture and configuration.
About you
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Cyber Security.
- 3-5 years in this level of position or field of work.
- In depth working knowledge with CyberArk
- Professional work experience in the Healthcare industry.
- In depth understanding of ISO27001 and NIST CFS 2.0.
- In depth understanding of ITIL and incident management.
- Strong understanding of IAM technologies and standards (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Azure AD Governance, SCIM).
- Detailed working knowledge of IAM standards and PAM best practices and frameworks.
