About The Role
Based at our Head Office in Preston, the Practice Support Pharmacist plays a key role in supporting our pharmacy franchisees and their teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice. This role is responsible for improving dispensary and consult room operations, and supporting the implementation of new procedures and equipment in our pharmacies. You will also contribute to reviewing and developing Practice Support documentation in line with regulatory and business requirements, while assisting the Practice Support Manager and Field Team with audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Role Responsibilities

Provide practical advice and guidance to franchisees and their teams on legislation, pharmacy practice and accreditation standards.

Review and develop Practice Support documents to ensure compliance with legislation, best practice guidelines and CW business rules.

Support the implementation of new dispensary and consult room workflows, procedures and equipment across the network.

Collaborate with internal and field teams to identify risks, minimise operational impacts, and drive continuous quality improvement.

Deliver education, training and resources to franchisees and their employees to support best practice pharmacy operations.

Participate in store visits as part of the CW Retail support program.
- Proactively monitor the Pharmacy Services Inbox and ensure all Practice Support queries are responded to, and Practice Support tasks are actioned, in a timely manner.
- Provide support and advice to franchisees and their employees for any matter raised via the Pharmacist Support Line, regarding professional or ethical pharmacy practice.
- Maintain relevance and recency of community pharmacy practice by undertaking one shift each week or fortnight, as agreed, in a CW Retail pharmacy
About You
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Current Ahpra general registration as a pharmacist (without conditions or undertakings)
- 3+ years practical experience as a community pharmacist in Australia
- Excellent working knowledge of pharmacy legislation, guidelines, practice standards, accreditation standards and pharmacy programs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised, with an ability to prioritise and multitask
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good general IT and Computer skills, intermediate Microsoft Office skills
