About The Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain & Operations team, working closely with our Program Manager – Operations Planning, Performance & Analytics. In this role, you’ll help drive key projects and initiatives across both retail and supply chain operations. Your day-to-day will include gathering requirements, mapping processes, spotting opportunities for improvement, and supporting solution design. You’ll also play a part in testing and quality assurance to make sure projects are delivered smoothly and successfully – both now and into the future.
Role Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS GATHERING AND ANALYSIS
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and document analysis to elicit clear business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, or use cases.
- Prioritise requirements using MoSCoW, RICE or similar frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain a structured backlog of requirements and ensure traceability throughout delivery.
PROCESS MAPPING AND IMPROVEMENT
- Develop and understand current state ("as-is") and future state ("to-be") process maps using BPMN or
equivalent standards and ensuring validation from impacted stakeholders. - Conduct gap analyses to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or non-value-adding activities and provide
recommendations for process improvement that align with business goals, governance and compliance
requirements.
SOLUTION DESIGN SUPPORT
- Translate business needs into solution designs in partnership with technical teams and architects.
- Review and validate functional specs, wireframes, or system diagrams for alignment with requirements.
- Support assessments and options for feasibility, scalability, and user experience impact.
- Contribute to RFI/RFP processes as instructed / required
- Ensure designs comply with business rules, integration needs, and system constraints.
TESTING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Develop or review user stories, test cases and ensure alignment with documented requirements.
- Coordinate and if required, build UAT activities with end users, including preparation of scripts and issue
tracking. - Support and monitor defect logs and ensure timely resolution of issues before deployment.
- Validate delivered functionality against agreed acceptance criteria.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business analysis role, ideally within operational or systems, transformation projects that include experience in process mapping, solution design, data management, operational efficiency and end user experience initiatives.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, including experience using Kanban boards for visual task management and workflow tracking.
- Competency with Dynamics 365, Manhattan, Genesys, SQL highly regarded.
- Experience with writing and building testing coordination, UAT, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a professional approach.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
