About The Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our stock integrity across the business. In this dynamic position, you’ll be responsible for supporting a wide range of inventory-related activities, identifying opportunities for internal control improvements, and driving initiatives that strengthen our operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing our stocktake program, delivering accurate and insightful reporting, and providing regular training to teams on practices that impact stock accuracy. You’ll also contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at boosting performance and streamlining processes throughout the business.
Role Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and oversee the stocktake program from end to end including the on-going management of the stocktake schedule, management of stocktake preparation across all locations and the completion and analysis of stocktakes
- Ensure all stores are scheduled for stocktake annually
- Support all Retail and Area manager’s with stocktake preparations in the lead up to their count
- Provide key stakeholders with insight into stocktake result along with any influencing factors
- Process stocktakes within required timeframes
- Assist with inventory reporting and educate stakeholders to drive inventory best practice
- Utilizing stocktake reporting information to provide insights on re-occurring issues
- Complete analysis and reporting on warehouse cycle counting results and ensure issues or concerns identified are communicated
- Review monthly business reporting in relation to outstanding transfers, stock adjustments, Negative SOH & Credits volumes to identify anomalies to assist in the identification of poor process of stock management
- Review monthly business reporting in relation to delivery & driver compliance and liaise with the Loss Prevention team to communicate required actions and resolutions
- Actively identify areas of stocktake or inventory re-training opportunities and work with relevant teams to deliver training to address these
About You
- Experience/understanding of stock management principles
- Understanding of warehouse and store inventory processes
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective time management and achievement of deadlines
- Intermediate excel skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Experience/understanding of stock management principles
