Primary focus
▪ End to end claims management; not limited to:
o Return to Work (RTW) Planning
o Payroll processing
o All administrative functions incl. document upload, remittance & invoicing
▪ Assist injured workers, where safe and practicable, to remain at work while they recover or return to work as soon as possible ▪ Monitor the progress of claims and the employee’s recovery
▪ Keep up to date and detailed notes throughout the duration of the of the claim until closure
▪ Post claim closure check in to ensure the Worker has sustained pre-injury employment
▪ Assist the Injured worker and Employer to meet their RTW obligations
▪ Regularly consult and liaise with the Injured Worker, the Employer, Treating Practitioners, and the Insurer
▪ Regularly prepare and report on claims performance to the Team Lead and WHS Manager
▪ Assess claims and incident data to identify safety issues / causative factors and where appropriate pass recommendations to the Team Lead for review
Qualifications and Experience
-
▪ Either Tertiary qualified in Human Resource Management/WHS or related field; OR well experienced in a Return to Work or similar type of administrative role
▪ RTW Coordinator course
▪ Sound knowledge of Accident Compensation Legislation
▪ An interest in WHS and WorkCover is desirable
▪ Experience interacting with various levels of business stakeholders
▪ Strong knowledge with the Microsoft Office suite and general PC use
▪ Confident user of technology and online systems
