The projects team is involved in a wide number of projects that help enable synergies and help bring new business opportunities to the business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager – Pharmacy Services, the Product Owner – Pharmacy Services will lead the delivery and implementation of projects across Pharmacy Services. Working closely with pharmacy users, software vendors and IT delivery teams, you’ll shape initiatives from scope through to implementation, ensuring they are clearly defined, well-coordinated and delivered end to end to achieve strong business outcomes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the roadmap for projects across the Pharmacy Services Systems portfolio, including vaccinations, bookings and compliance.
  • Lead multiple projects from planning through to implementation, delivering agreed outcomes within scope, time and budget.
  • Coordinate project resources, costs and delivery partners, ensuring teams are well-resourced and milestones are met.
  • Act as the key contact for portfolio projects, communicating progress and managing expectations across Pharmacy Services and the wider business.
  • Work with IT, eCommerce and project office teams to coordinate delivery and meet established governance requirements.
  • Contribute to project business cases and tenders across multiple departments and disciplines.
  • Monitor portfolio milestones, objectives, risks and performance measures, taking action to address issues that may affect delivery.
  • Provide timely, accurate progress reports to project offices, steering committees and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and up to date, including scope, functional and technical designs, and user guides.
  • Partner with change management teams to plan implementation, support a smooth transition and encourage user adoption, while meeting data governance, privacy and security requirements.

Who are we looking for?

You’re an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager who can bring people together, work through complex challenges and turn business priorities into clear, achievable outcomes. You’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in management, project management, IT or a related field.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate, influence and work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial judgement and the ability to understand broader business needs and longer-term priorities.
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to delegate effectively and communicate decisions clearly.
  • A practical approach to resolving complex issues and building capability across teams.
