About the team 

The Design team supports the communication needs of CW Retail’s brands by developing creative campaigns, catalogues, digital communications, print publications and marketing collateral. The team works with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to deliver engaging, accurate and commercially effective visual communications. 

 

About the role

The Graphic Designer – Creative is responsible for developing creative concepts, campaign themes and visual design solutions for multiple CW Retail brands. The role supports the Creative Manager and Head of Design in delivering creative work across catalogues, print, digital communications, marketing collateral and campaign activations. 

 

Role responsibilities 

• Develop creative concepts, campaign themes and visual design solutions for CW Retail brands.

• Design and produce creative artwork for catalogues, print publications, digital communications, marketing collateral and campaign activations.

• Adapt creative concepts across multiple formats, channels, brands and campaign requirements while maintaining visual consistency.

• Prepare finished artwork and press-ready files for print and digital production.

• Explore creative design solutions using photography, imagery, typography, colour, layout and other visual communication techniques.

• Work closely with the Creative Manager, Head of Design and Marketing stakeholders to develop and refine creative concepts.

• Liaise with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to clarify briefs, understand campaign objectives and obtain feedback.

• Ensure all creative work complies with brand guidelines, campaign requirements and approved design direction.

• Produce accurate, high-quality design work within agreed timeframes.

• Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of creative output.

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with Marketing, internal stakeholders, suppliers and other departments.

• Maintain current knowledge of design trends, creative practices, visual communication and relevant design software.

 

Who we are looking for?

  • A creative thinker with proven graphic design experience, who can develop engaging campaign concepts, creative themes and visual solutions from brief through to delivery.
  • Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with a solid understanding of typography, layout, colour, imagery and visual communication.
  • A strong eye for brand and detail, with the ability to bring creative concepts to life across different formats and channels while maintaining brand consistency and quality.
  • An organised and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and deadlines while confidently troubleshooting creative or production challenges.
  • A collaborative and proactive team player with strong communication skills, who is comfortable presenting ideas, embracing feedback, taking initiative and adapting to changing priorities.
