Title: Graduate Accountant
About the Company
With over 600 stores nationally, our Group is Australia’s forerunner in the retail pharmacy industry and in recent times has extended internationally with stores in New Zealand, China, and Europe.
The Group plans to continue to grow and maintain its status as a market leader and is seeking a new team member to join our accounting team in a Graduate Accountant role.
Duties/Responsibilities
This role also includes study assistance for approved courses, including CA and CPA.
- Bank Reconciliations
- BAS lodgement
- Processing of General Journals.
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Assisting in the improvement of methods and processes
- Other accounting and finance related tasks as required
Key Selection Criteria
- Accounting Degree
- Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office, namely Word, Excel and Outlook
- Results Focused
- Have a methodical and organised approach
- Be highly motivated and capable of keeping up with a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working autonomously whilst respecting the dynamics of a team
- Attention to detail an absolute must
- Effective communication skills
