As a Graduate Accountant, you will be tasked with meaningful and important work that will allow you to apply the theoretical knowledge you’ve gained from university in a real-life setting. You will be working alongside a team of qualified Accounting and Finance professionals who will support your development as you transition from university to full-time work.

Job Description

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but this will be a busy role in which you can expect to undertake the following activities on a regular basis:

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Processing of General Journals.
  • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting in the improvement of methods and processes
  • Other accounting and finance related tasks as required

To be considered for this role, you will need to have completed a degree in accounting gained from a recognised Australian tertiary institution.  Equally important to your success will be your diligence, resilience and enthusiasm for making the most of this incredible opportunity.  

In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Sound computer skills in MS Office, namely Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Degree qualified
  • High levels of drive and results focus
  • A methodical and organised approach to work
  • High levels of motivation motivated and capable of keeping up with a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working autonomously whilst respecting the dynamics of a team
  • Effective communication skills
