About the role

We’re seeking a Finished Artist to join our Design team, with a strong focus on point of sale design production. In this role, you’ll prepare accurate, press-ready artwork across Sigma’s retail brands, ensuring all materials meet brand guidelines and production standards. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team within one of Australia’s leading pharmaceutical retailers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare finished art and press-ready material for all corporate portfolio brands.
  • Submit work to the Team Leader for review and approval.
  • Assist the Team Leader in the production process, from design through to print and final preparation.
  • Develop design layouts and finished artwork in liaison with Team Leaders and Marketers.
  • Follow design team processes and use approved software and tools to create material.
  • Work collaboratively within the Marketing & Design Department, supporting the team with tasks and meeting tight deadlines efficiently.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, contributing positively to the Design team.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Liaise with Marketing and/or the Team Leader to gather feedback and escalate design issues when appropriate.
  • Prepare finished art for print, website layouts, and event activations.
  • Assist the Design Manager and/or Team Leader on department projects and new initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge and skills in design.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar design role, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Effective time management.
