Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, aspiring and solutions focused Chef to join our ever growing and well-loved family business. Your responsibilities in this role, include but are not limited to:

Job Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house colleagues

Design a high-volume, seasonal menu with specials;

Ensure that the café service runs smoothly each day;

Lead the kitchen team to prepare and cook the daily menu to a consistently high standard;

Oversee stock control and ordering;

Produce, organise and follow daily preparation lists;

Take responsibility for the maintenance of a clean kitchen that meets all food safety regulations

Skills

A commitment to the highest of standards and service

A minimum of 2 years proven experience in a high-volume kitchen

Excellent time management skills

Strong leadership, with the ability to motivate others and maintain a high morale

Well developed communication ability and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

Repeat the same movements

Stand for long periods of time

Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
