Our Marketing team is currently seeking an experienced Catalogue Production Specialist to join our vibrant and fast-paced environment. About the role

As a Catalogue Production Specialist, you will play a key role in developing category content plans for the Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist brands. This dynamic role involves overseeing all stages of catalogue production, from pre-production planning to final editing and delivery. You will collaborate closely with the Catalogue Production team, Buyers, Catalogue Designers, and the Compliance Team to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality output. Additionally, you will liaise with various departments and stakeholders to facilitate the timely processing and review of files and proofs for printing.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and presentation of catalogue theme concepts to management’
  • Monitor the flow of product information from buyers, compliance, and suppliers to designers.
  • Manage copy corrections, layout adjustments, blueprint changes, and proof distribution for review.
  • Prepare product mix layouts according to buyer's catalogue information
  • Ensure all catalogue spreads are production-ready by placing buyer product information in a format ready for design.
  • Maintain and organise copy changes from buyers, compliance, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage a photography list, including coordination of missing product assets, with buyers, suppliers, and photographers.
  • Communicate category approvals and sign-offs to internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparation of templates/layouts of each page for review before designer briefings.
  • Manage the print production schedule, applying project management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Monitor and manage timelines, and quality control processes, ensuring that every detail is handled meticulously.
  • Provide timely and accurate information including early identification of potential risk.

About You

  • Bachelor of Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent ideal.
  • Good working knowledge of print production.
  • Well-developed and thorough knowledge of content lifecycle, sales management and implementation of campaigns .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a professional approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Highly organised and with an ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Experienced in working in a dynamic and continually changing environment.
