About the Role

 

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Intern Pharmacist to join our team at Chemist Warehouse Porirua on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy graduate who is working toward full registration and seeking hands-on experience in a supportive community pharmacy environment.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medicines accurately under pharmacist supervision
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients
  • Assist with medication counseling and health advice
  • Conduct stock management, ordering, and inventory checks
  • Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Support the Pharmacist in Charge with daily pharmacy operations

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (or have complete all steps on the Non-REQR pathway) eligible for intern placement in New Zealand
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to patient care
  • Ability to work rostered days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
