We are building the foundation team for our brand-new Chemist Warehouse x Ultra Beauty store at Mt Ommaney and are looking for passionate Ultra Beauty Consultants to join us.

About the opportunity

As an Ultra Beauty Consultant, you will be the go-to expert for all things beauty. Your knowledge of skincare, cosmetics and fragrance will help customers discover products that suit their needs, preferences and routines.

You will work closely with the broader Retail Pharmacy team while taking ownership of the customer experience within the beauty space. No two days will be the same, and you will have the opportunity to combine personalised service, product knowledge, visual merchandising and sales in a fast-paced environment. 

A typical day might include:

• Engaging with customers and providing personalised skincare, cosmetics and fragrance advice. 
• Listening to customer needs and recommending suitable products across luxury and affordable brands. 
• Creating a welcoming, high-quality in-store beauty experience. 
• Replenishing and merchandising stock in line with planogram and brand guidelines. 
• Setting up promotional displays for new products, launches and campaigns. 
• Processing customer transactions through the point-of-sale system. 
• Staying up to date with new products, beauty trends and brand education. 
• Collaborating with the wider store team to deliver exceptional service and achieve store goals. 

About you

You are passionate about beauty and enjoy helping customers find products that make them feel their best. You will also bring: 

• Previous experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, sales or customer-focused retail. 
• Strong product knowledge, or a genuine enthusiasm and willingness to learn. 
• Confident communication skills and a personalised approach to customer service. 
• The ability to build rapport, understand customer needs and make thoughtful recommendations. 
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a busy retail environment. 
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and confidence using point-of-sale systems. 
• An interest in keeping up with emerging beauty trends, products and techniques.

The work environment

Our stores are busy, energetic environments where no two days are the same. Team members work in the pharmacy throughout their shift and may stand for long periods. Stock replenishment can involve repetitive movements and lifting heavier items, so please keep this in mind when applying.
