We are building the foundation team for our brand-new Chemist Warehouse x Ultra Beauty store at Mt Ommaney and are looking for Student Pharmacists to join us in full-time, part-time and casual positions.

About the role

As a Student Pharmacist, you will work under Pharmacist supervision and perform duties in line with the standards of the Pharmacy Board of Australia, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia and QCPP. You will support the dispensary and wider store team while building the practical knowledge, confidence and professional skills needed for your future pharmacy career. 

A typical day may include: 

• Assisting with customer and patient queries under Pharmacist supervision. 
• Supporting prescription intake, dispensing and prescription collection processes. 
• Providing medication and product information within your level of training and under appropriate supervision. 
• Replenishing dispensary and retail stock and maintaining accurate inventory levels. 
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the dispensary and wider store. 
• Building your knowledge of pharmacy products, professional services and community pharmacy practice. 
• Working collaboratively with Pharmacists, Intern Pharmacists, Dispensary Assistants and the broader store team. 
• Delivering warm, respectful and helpful service to every customer and patient. 

About you

You are currently studying pharmacy and are eager to turn your university learning into practical experience. You bring a positive attitude, genuine curiosity and a strong commitment to providing safe, respectful and helpful customer care. 

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy program in Australia. 
• A genuine interest in community pharmacy and supporting positive patient outcomes. 
• A willingness to learn, ask questions and respond positively to coaching and feedback. 
• Strong customer service and communication skills. 
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks. 
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
• A reliable, organised and professional approach to work. 
• Confidence working in a busy environment where priorities may change throughout the day. 
• Previous pharmacy, retail or customer service experience is highly regarded but not essential.

The work environment 

Our stores are busy, energetic environments where no two days are the same. Team members work throughout the pharmacy during their shift and may stand for extended periods. Some duties may involve repetitive movements and occasional lifting of heavier items, so please keep this in mind when applying.
