About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Retail Pharmacy Assistant to join our fast-paced, growing business. With part-time, full-time and casual working hours available across our store network, the right opportunity is closer than you think!
At Chemist Warehouse Marcoola we work together as one and treat our team like a family! Everyone supports each other - making it a fun and welcoming place to work. Our manager has also been with us for 17+ years, and we generally have a very low team turnover, which helps maintain a close-knit, supportive environment.
We have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow! On-the-job training is provided, helping team members build skills and confidence across the store. Our team also loves to connect - we enjoy team breakfasts together before work, lunch during our shifts and other rewards are organised to celebrate hard work and achievements on a regular basis.
We’re also a small store located right across from the beach, which makes coming to work even more enjoyable – and a cheeky dip before or after work is always on the cards!
As a Retail Pharmacy Assistant, a typical day might look like:
- Helping customers, keeping shelves stocked, and ensuring transactions run smoothly
- Assist customers with general queries
- Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels
- Serve customers and process purchases through our Point-of-Sale system
- Setting up displays for catalogue promotions
- This is a fast-paced environment that requires stamina, commitment, and the ability to stay focused when things get busy.

- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
- Excellent customer service with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of pharmacy products and eagerness to learn
- Strong communication skills with all stakeholders
- S2 & S3 trained & Certificates I–III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded
