About the roles

Across both roles, you’ll deliver friendly customer service, keep the store looking its best and work with your colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Retail Pharmacy Assistant

As a Retail Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll support customers with general product queries and help maintain a well-stocked, organised pharmacy retail environment. A typical day may include:

• Helping customers with queries and referring questions requiring professional advice to the pharmacist.
• Replenishing shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
• Serving customers and processing purchases through our Point-of-Sale system.
• Setting up displays for catalogue promotions.
• Working with the wider store team to deliver a positive customer experience.

Ultra Beauty Consultant

As an Ultra Beauty Consultant, you’ll focus on our beauty space, helping customers explore skincare, cosmetics and fragrance across our range of luxury and affordable brands. A typical day may include:

• Providing personalised beauty advice and recommending products to suit customer needs.
• Sharing your knowledge of skincare, cosmetics and fragrance.
• Replenishing and merchandising stock in line with planogram guidelines.
• Creating promotional displays for new products and campaigns.
• Processing customer transactions and assisting with general store queries.
• Working closely with the Retail Pharmacy team to create a welcoming in-store experience.

About you

You’re friendly, reliable and enjoy helping people. You communicate clearly, take pride in your work and bring a calm, practical approach to a busy retail environment.

• Excellent customer service skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Availability for full-time work across a retail roster, including evenings and weekends as required.

For Retail Pharmacy Assistant opportunities, S2 and S3 training and Certificates I–III in Community Pharmacy are highly regarded.

For Ultra Beauty Consultant opportunities, we’re looking for previous sales or retail experience as an advisor or consultant, knowledge of skincare, cosmetics and fragrance brands, and an interest in keeping up with beauty trends. Confidence using Point-of-Sale systems is also valued.

The work environment

Our stores are busy, energetic environments where no two days are the same. Team members work throughout the store and may stand for extended periods. Stock replenishment can involve repetitive movements and lifting heavier items, so please keep this in mind when applying.
