Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, aspiring and solutions focused inventory professional to join our ever growing and well-loved family business. Your responsibilities in this role, include but are not limited to:

Job Responsibilities

Assisting customers with general queries
Define and execute perpetual inventory counting (cycle count program)
Define, plan and execute annual stocktake within the distribution centre
Informing customers on current sales and promotions in store
Inventory lifecycle management within the distribution centre
Labelling goods with details of storage location.
Maintenance of location and storage medium capacity
Manage quality control to drive improved service to stores
Manage store credit process and policies within Distribution Centres
Management of business controls for inventory adjustments
Managing the entire four wall inventory integrity
Operating computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock.
Product slotting and inventory placement within the distribution centre to optimise efficiencies
Provide management information and insights on all inventory activities
Receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
Recommending vitamins and natural health care products
Replenishing stock and maintaining inventory levels
Setting and monitoring integrity policies and procedures
Setting up displays for catalogue promotions
Support ranging inside Distribution Centres in line with business plan
Unloading vehicles, opening packages and removing contents.

Skills

Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
Excellent customer service and people skills
Eye for detail and accuracy, data entry and client/supplier care
Have some prior experience with Invoicing / Inwards goods and/or Inventory
Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Stand for long periods of time
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
