The Opportunity

Chemist Warehouse South Dunedin is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-time Term Retail Coordinator!

Job Responsibilities

The primary role of the Retail Coordinator is to assist the Retail Manager in a co-ordination and supervisory capacity of employees and day to day store activities. In addition, you are also responsible for:

Managing the floor staff during the evenings
Coordinating staff recruitment if required
Coordinating staff training and development activities
Supporting and contributing a cooperative organisational culture
Assisting with customer service queries
Resolving staffing issues and stock discrepancies
Ensuring organisational policies and procedures are followed
Maintaining workplace Occupational Health and Safety

Important Skills

Effective supervisory, leadership and people management skills
Efficient problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using computer systems
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills among all stakeholders
Dedicated work ethic
Eye for detail and accuracy

Certifications

S2 & S3 trained applicants highly regarded

Certificates I - III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded

Repeat the same movements

Stand for long periods of time

Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
