The Opportunity
Chemist Warehouse St Lukes is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time (35 to 40 hours per week) DispensaryTechnician! This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 New Zealand Pharmacy Technician qualification and at least 1 year of relevant work experience. Thisrole is a vital to our dispensary opperations and the payrange of $28 to $33 per hour dependant on experience.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, aspiring and customer focused Dispensary Technician to join our ever growing and well-loved family business. In this fast paced, multifaceted role, you are required to perform tasks under Pharmacist supervision.

Job Responsibilities

Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries
Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications
Counselling customers about medications
Dispensary stock management and replenishment
Updating customer files and other administrative tasks

Skills

Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Experience working in the dispensary

Strong eye for detail and accuracy

Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Certifications

Dispensary Assistant Qualification as a minimum

Physical Requirements

Repeat the same movements

Stand for long periods of time

Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
