Catalogue & Merchandising Officer

Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment? We’re looking for a dynamic Promotions & Compliance Coordinator to play a key role in delivering accurate, timely promotional and compliance information to our stores.

This is a pivotal role responsible for coordinating catalogues, promotions, compliance schedules and store communications — ensuring our stores are set up for success every time.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Catalogue, Merchandising & Space Planning Manager, you will ensure all promotional, catalogue and compliance activities are collated, loaded, maintained and communicated accurately and on time.

You’ll work closely with Buying, Marketing, Distribution Centres, Stores and third-party partners to streamline processes, update operational guides and maintain critical promotional calendars.

Key Responsibilities

Promotions & Catalogue Coordination

  • Collate and communicate Black & White information from buyers to stores

  • Add buyer splits and distribute updates

  • Load monthly catalogues, House of Wellness, major sales and promotional campaigns

  • Create MRM and MyWeb sign files by required deadlines

  • Correct and record catalogue errors and communicate updates to stores

  • Create and distribute catalogue order files

  • Upload documents to MyComms Tasks and MyWeb

  • Maintain and update promotional calendars

Compliance & Process Management

  • Collate Compliance Calendar information from buyers

  • Communicate compliance schedules to stores by due dates

  • Create and maintain Prepare & Execute guides

  • Develop and streamline “How To” guides and store processes

  • Ensure all MyComms and MyWeb files are current and accurate

Teamwork & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Buying, Marketing and other departments to deliver exceptional service

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stores, DCs and support teams

  • Liaise with third-party technicians and support personnel

  • Foster positive communication and a strong team culture

Workplace Health & Safety

  • Act in accordance with company WHS policies and procedures

  • Take reasonable care for your own and others’ safety and wellbeing
